Interestingly, today we are celebrating Mahashivratri and Women’s Day simultaneously. We acknowledge the existence of both forms, Shiva and Shakti. We are also reminded that Shiva without Shakti is inert. That’s why the primary source of life and power is called Adishakti, a goddess.
